I think Barrowman's agent was too confused (and too busy looking over panel questions) to do anything. and I should know: I was there. also, have you guys seen him in The Producers? this guy can pull off blonde. he can do funny and serious. and with a little cinema magic and a thing we like to call "make-up," age-lines will vanish! imagine that! someone who's over 40 will look under 30! (though I think he looks under 40 as he is). Barrowman is a GREAT actor, and being gay has absolutely nothing to do with anything. don't bring your prejudiced views around here. and now that Torchwood Season 3 is only going to be a run of specials, he should be free enough to do a movie. come on, Stan Lee, cast the guy! everyone will love you! Combined with the fact that Barrowman has the classic 40s look and the Captain America jaw line, I believe he would be the perfect person to counter Downey Jr. slighty goofy but cynical portrayal of Tony Stark. I think they could play well off of each other, bringing out that amusing banter the characters have that the comic readers love. Here's to hoping. Thor will probably be in the fall or winter I guess. And think about it. They don't even have the script finished or a director yet for Captain America AND if you didn't know, Sony is trying to Kill Captain America's box office earnings by announcing that they are going to release Spider Man 4 the same exact month in 2011!!!
